About me

Peggy Jane is created by fashion designer Maggie Mattioni. She doodled her first Peggy Jane character as a child growing up in a small mining village in the North East of England. Her inspiration comes from growing up with Northern Soul and the mod scene. Her artwork to this day still includes inspiration for her love of British subcultures and her original home the North East.
